The Wingnuts won their fifth straight game Monday and moved their winning percentage to .667.

Four Wichita pitchers combined on a five-hitter in a 4-1 victory over the Rockland Boulders of the Can-Am League in Pomona, N.Y.

Former Wichita State pitcher Anthony Capra got the victory by going six innings and allowing one run and three hits. He struck out seven and walked three.

Doubles by C.J. Ziegler and Cole Armstrong drove in Wichita’s seventh-inning runs, breaking a 1-1 tie. John Rodriguez’s eighth-inning triple drove in an insurance run.

The Wingnuts (50-25) play Rockland at 10 a.m. Central time Tuesday. Josh Stone will make his first Wingnuts start.
