Police seek help in catching man who robbed restaurant

The crime

Shortly before 10 p.m., on Tuesday, July 23, a man entered the McDonald’s at 1050 N. Broadway. He placed an order and when the clerk opened the register the suspect grabbed the money. After a brief struggle, the suspect ran off with an undisclosed amount of money. There were no injuries to the clerk.

The suspect is a black man in his early to mid-40s. He is 5-foot-2 and 125 pounds with brown eyes and black hair. He was wearing jeans and a black shirt with an orange design on it.
