The storm debris dump site Sedgwick County set up for residents to get rid of tree branches and brush will close Wednesday.

The county has taken about 14,000 truck loads of storm debris since it opened the site in early July.

The site, free to residents, cities, townships and businesses, will be open 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. Tuesday and Wednesday at 63rd Street South and Meridian.

The county plans to burn the debris later.
