Another million-dollar Powerball ticket in Kansas

For the second straight week, a ticket sold in Kansas won $1 million in a Powerball drawing.

A ticket sold in northeast Kansas for Saturday’s drawing matched the first five numbers but not the Powerball. Those numbers were 9, 23, 40, 53 and 58, with a Powerball of 6.

Another ticket sold in northeast Kansas matched four of the first five numbers plus the Powerball, making it worth $10,000.

No ticket matched all of the numbers in Saturday’s Powerball drawing, so the projected jackpot for Wednesday will be $235 million.
