Sedgwick County Extension office sale will feature children’s clothing, teaching supplies

The Making Cents & Sense event, a children’s clothing and teacher resource consignment sale, will take place this week at the Sedgwick County Extension office at 21st Street North and Ridge.

Those who attend can buy and sell new and gently used kids’ clothing, toys and equipment, as well as teaching and school supplies, educational resources and classroom supplies.

The event will run from 8 a.m. to 7 p.m. on Thursday and Friday and 7 a.m. to 2 p.m. on Saturday. Many items will be half off on Saturday.

In addition to the sale, there will be daily workshops from 10:30 to 11:30 a.m. Topics covered in the daily workshops are gardening with kids, couponing, meal time/picky eaters and discipline tips.
