Lady Bug the Goofball, a 4-year-old female boxer mix, is available for adoption from Kansas Humane Society.

Hi, my name is Lady Bug and I just love being around people. It seems like we always have the best time together. I went to a nursing home this week and got along great with everyone, including another dog that went with me. I can’t wait for you to visit with me at KHS.

Also available:

• Tipsy the Wallflower, 9-month-old female rat terrier mix

I’m a gal who loves snuggling up and spending quality time with my people friends. Are you walking to the kitchen? I’ll follow you in there. Are you watching a movie? I think I’ll sleep in your lap. You should visit your new best friend at KHS.

• Georgia the Leader of the Band, 2-year-old female cat, domestic shorthair mix

Hi there. My name is Georgia. I’d love to cuddle up and fall asleep next to you, but I see a string toy that we should play with first. I love playing with people. You should come to KHS so we can start playing together right away.

• Anna the Personal Assistant, 2-year-old female cat, domestic shorthair mix

You know what’s great about having a personal assistant? I can clear your busy schedule and pencil you in for an afternoon of relaxing cat cuddling. Doesn’t that sound great? I’ll go ahead and schedule you to visit with me at KHS today.

• Deb the Sidekick, 4-year-old female cat, domestic shorthair mix

Hi, I’m Deb, and if you don’t mind, I’ll just stick right by your side. I’m a vocal and affectionate kitty. When you pet me, I’ll purr loudly and head-butt your hand. You should visit with me at KHS right away.
