An Indian Wars era rendezvous is scheduled for Aug. 24-25 at Riggs Park in Haysville.

This marks the second year re-enactors and history buffs will re-create an encampment from the 1866-1886 time period. Events include tomahawk throwing, games from the 19th century, gunfight scenarios, Buffalo soldiers performing mounted military maneuvers and drills, horseback rides and a chuckwagon lunch.
