The Wingnuts’ game against Amarillo was suspended by rain Tuesday night.

The score was tied 4-4 after six innings when Tuesday’s storm blew into Wichita and halted play at Lawrence-Dumont Stadium. The game will resume at 6 p.m. Wednesday, and will be followed by the regularly-scheduled game — the Wingnuts final home game for nearly three weeks as the NBC World Series takes over the stadium.

The Wingnuts (42-20) have the American Association’s best record and lead the Central Division by 5 1/2 games.
