Wichita police are seeking the public’s assistance in identifying suspects in a pair of recent burglaries on North Broadway.

The two burglars are seen in images captured by a security camera on Wednesday and Thursday at Broadway Discount Liquor at 2945 N. Broadway.

In the first burglary, which occurred at about 1 a.m. Wednesday, the two men pried open a door and made off with more than $1,500 worth of alcohol. The owner of the store first noticed the two men in a white Mercury Villager trying to break in the night before, Lt. Doug Nolte said.

The two men returned to the store shortly before 4 a.m. on Thursday and filled two trash cans full of alcohol.

Anyone with information about the suspects is encouraged to contact Det. Varnell at 316-268-4317 or DVarnell@wichita.gov.
