Former Royals player Frank White to attend Kansas Book Festival

— Former Kansas City Royals player Frank White is among 30-plus authors who will be promoting their work at the Kansas Book Festival on Sept. 7, Kansas First Lady Mary Brownback announced Monday.

White will be talking about his book, “My Team, My Town, My Time.” Other authors highlighted by Gov. Sam Brownback’s administration are Joel Rosenberg, Alex Grecian, Larry Berman, Gary Krohe, Larry Welch and Deb Goodrich Bisel.
