More information

A house in the 700 block of South Lightner, near Lincoln and Edgemoor, was hit by seven bullets at about 4:30 a.m. on Sunday. No one was injured.

A witness told police that he saw someone roll down the rear passenger window of a white Pontiac Grand Am as it traveled past the house. He said he saw someone lean out of the window holding what appeared to be a gun.

The witness ran into the house and told the other people inside that he thought someone was going to shoot at the house. He said he then heard six gunshots.

When police arrived, they found five shell casings on the ground and seven spots where the house had been hit.

No arrests have been made.
