Koch Arena will have a new center-court scoreboard and digital displays over the exits to the concourse, Wichita State’s athletic department announced Tuesday.

A four-sided display will replace the one that’s been in use over center court since the arena’s renovation in 2003. The high-definition screens on each side will be 12 feet high by 15 feet wide. LED strip displays will be affixed above and below the video boards.

Eighteen auxilary displays will be installed over the vomitories.

WSU said the installation, which includes a new sound system, will be complete by the start of the school year in August and costs $1.8 million.
