Dickson takes over as director of KU medical school’s family medicine residency program in Wichita

Gretchen Dickson has been named the director of the University of Kansas School of Medicine-Wichita family medicine residency program at Wesley Medical Center, according to a news release.

Dickson replaces Paul Calloway, who was recently named associate dean for the school.

She earned her medical degree from the University of Pittsburgh School of Medicine and holds an MBA in health care leadership from Rockhurst University in Kansas City, Mo.

She has directed the family medicine clerkship for KU in Wichita for three years and assumed her new position on Monday, according to the release.
