Wichita police are searching for a 39-year-old woman and a 22-year-old man who followed a group of women Sunday morning as the women left a nightclub and then fired a handgun several times at the women’s car.

The incident happened in the 1100 block of South Topeka at 1:45 a.m. Sunday.

The four women range in age from 24 to 45, said Sgt. Bart Brunscheen, spokesman for the Wichita Police Department.

The women told police they had left a club in the 1000 block of South Broadway when they noticed a dark green Lincoln Town car following them. As they continued driving, the Lincoln pulled alongside the women’s car, and the 39-year-old woman began firing a handgun several times at them. None of the four were hurt, Brunscheen said, but their vehicle received several gunshots.
