Officers with Wichita Police Department’s Patrol North along with undercover detectives from the Special Investigations Bureau conducted a prostitution sting Thursday evening in the area of Broadway and 14th streets.

Despite the fact that the sting was taking place during the storm, officers arrested 10 people on suspicion of various moral violations.

“They were still making arrests while the trees were blowing down,” Lt. Joe Schroeder said Friday.

The sting ended around midnight.
