Tosha the Goofball, a 7-year-old female pit bull terrier mix, is available for adoption from Kansas Humane Society.

I’m a big fan of adventure. I love going on walks and exploring parks and trails. Doesn’t that sound like fun to you? We could have so much fun together. Then after a long walk, we can just relax together. You should visit me at KHS so we can start our adventure right away.

Also available:

• Clark the Go Getter, 2-year-old male Jack Russell terrier mix

I’m the happiest little guy. My smile just goes from ear to ear, and I’m hoping I can bring a smile that big to your face every day. We can go on walks or just cuddle up and watch a movie. You should visit me at KHS right away. We’re going to have a lot of fun together.

• Fred the Kitten, 3-month-old male cat, domestic medium-hair mix

Hi there. My name is Fred. I love to play and spend time with people and my foster sister Wilma. Would you like to play with me? We could toss a toy mouse around or even play with a string. That sounds like so much fun. You should come to KHS so we can start playing right away.

• Cinder the Personal Assistant, 3-year-old female cat, domestic shorthair mix

You know what’s great about having a personal assistant? I can clear your busy schedule and pencil you in for some relaxing cat cuddling. Those busy days will be no more with me looking over your schedule. Come to KHS today so you can meet the best personal assistant ever.

• Skittles the Rat, 11/2-year-old female rat

Hi, I’m Skittles. I’m a curious and fun-loving gal. I would make a great pet for someone in an apartment or for a first-time pet owner. I love to run around in my cage and I really like to be held. You should visit me at KHS today.
