A Hutchinson woman hurt Thursday morning in a Reno County traffic crash has died, according to the Kansas Highway Patrol.

Marjory A. McReynolds, 86, was injured when a semi pulling a trailer struck the driver’s door of her car as she tried to execute a U-turn at 56 Avenue and K-61, near Hutchinson, according to a KHP crash report. McReynolds was taken to Via Christi Hospital on St. Francis, where she later died, a hospital house supervisor said Saturday.

McReynolds’ passenger, 87-year-old Kenneth McReynolds of Hutchinson, was also hurt in the 8:30 a.m. wreck. He was taken to Hutchinson Regional Medical Center, the KHP said. His condition was not immediately available Saturday.

The 49-year-old Hutchinson man driving the semi was not hurt, KHP said.
