Red Rocks historic site to host high tea

The Red Rocks State Historic Site in Emporia will host a high tea at 2 p.m. on June 28, the Kansas Historical Society said Tuesday in a news release.

Red Rocks is the home of the William Allen White family. White was editor of the Emporia Gazette for nearly half a century and a nationally known journalist.

Tea will be served with treats and etiquette lessons. Visitors also are welcome to tour the home at 927 Exchange St. in Emporia. Admission is $20; reservations are required.
