Wichita State University will host a workshop providing high school teachers with the tools and training needed to teach a semester-long financial literacy class at their schools.

The conference is June 18-20 at WSU’s Barton School of Business. Teachers attending the conference will learn about new financial literacy standards, hear guest speakers and receive free curriculum resources including classroom lesson plans. They will also receive graduate credit through WSU or Emporia State University.

The conference, including meals and dorm housing, is free to high school finance teachers. Teachers can apply online at www.kcee.wichita.edu/ffi.htm.
