It’s great to see all these Kansans arm themselves. That should be handy once World War Z hits.


Sen. Dianne Feinstein said the massive government surveillance program is called protecting America. Right. This is the same Feinstein who wants to take our guns away. Not too hard to connect the dots.


Notice that liberals have no problem with Obama shredding the Constitution with all of these scandals. If only one of the scandals had happened under a Republican president, they would be going ballistic.


I have a bet with a friend that President Obama will convert to Islam within five years after his term ends.


Those who will give up freedom for security deserve neither. Sadly, many Americans fit in this group.


In the age of Facebook, tweets and sexting, the government knows everything about you but your shoe size. Why feign indignation about invasion of privacy over phone calls and e-mails? It’s creepy, sure, but do you want the terrorists caught before they blow you up or not?


Are tracking numbers from UPS, DHL and FedEx being recorded by the NSA?


A reader suggested that sexual assault in the military is self-induced, due to integrating women into the armed forces. This is the same as saying sexual assault is an OK, normal occurrence everywhere because women exist everywhere.


The U.S. Supreme Court decision on Obamacare portends an equally hideous decision later this month that homosexual “marriage” is legal throughout the land.


We shouldn’t mess with Syria. Instead of throwing money away over there, we could train and retrain the unemployed, break the immigration gridlock, fix our infrastructure, and invest in science and technology.


The three deputies serving the protection from abuse and protection from stalking papers are on the streets from 8 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. (June 9 Eagle). If the Sheriff’s Office staggered the shifts so the deputies covered more hours, not just when most people are at work, they probably would increase their success rate.


Has the WSU athletic department forgotten it is part of a learning institution? Is the way it allowed baseball coach Gene Stephenson’s dismissal to play out what it wants to teach students they can expect after 36 years in their future careers?
