Adopt a pet (June 8)

  • Published Saturday, June 8, 2013, at 8:08 a.m.

Regal the Goofball, an 11-year-old male beagle mix, is available for adoption from Kansas Humane Society.

Hi, I’m Regal and I’m a big fan of spending time with people. My tail is wagging just thinking about all the fun we are going to have together. I would just love to go on lots of walks with you. Doesn’t that sound like fun? You should come to KHS and meet your new best friend.

Also available:

• Max the Life of the Party, 8-year-old male Jack Russell Terrier mix

I might be a little guy, but I’ve got a big heart. I love to play, go on walks and spend time with people. You should come down to KHS to see just how much of a perfect match we are.

• Darius the Kitten, 2-month-old male cat, domestic shorthair mix

Hi there! My name is Darius. I love to play and spend time with people. Would you like to play with me? We could toss a toy mouse around or even play with a string. That sounds like so much fun. You should come to KHS so we can start playing right away.

• Latte the Personal Assistant, 7-year-old male cat, domestic shorthair mix

You know what’s great about having a personal assistant? I can clear your busy schedule and pencil you in for some relaxing cat cuddling. Those busy days will be no more with me looking over your schedule. Come to KHS today so you can meet the best personal assistant ever.

• Peanut the Guinea Pig, 11/2-year-old female guinea pig

Hi, I’m Peanut and I’m a pretty laidback gal. I would make a great pet for someone in an apartment or for a first-time pet owner. I love to run around in my cage and I really like to chew on oranges and carrots. You should visit me at KHS today.
