Elderly woman dies in collision on Kellogg near Greenwich

An elderly woman has died after a three-vehicle collision on Kellogg in east Wichita late Wednesday morning, authorities said.

A semi-trailer truck collided with two vehicles in the westbound lanes of Kellogg east of Greenwich Road at 11:32 a.m., a Sedgwick County dispatch supervisor said. The woman, who is in her late 70s or early 80s, was taken to Wesley Medical Center in critical condition. She died at 12:08 p.m.

Three other people were taken to Wesley with potentially serious injuries, the supervisor said. A 75-year-old man sustained blunt trauma to the chest, she said. A 78-year-old man and a 31-year-old man suffered broken bones in the collision.
