Bill Warren’s Moore, Okla., IMAX theater, damaged in Monday’s tornado that claimed 24 lives, is planning to reopen on Friday, the Wichita movie mogul said Tuesday night.

Construction crews were dispatched to the site, Warren said, and some of their work was pictured on an NBC News special Tuesday night about the EF-5 tornado.

The theater, a concrete structure that Warren said was built with severe weather in mind, sustained mostly cosmetic damage in the tornado.
