Police are looking into a series of tire slashings reported Wednesday morning in a northeast Wichita neighborhood.

More than a half-dozen cases were called in from an area near Woodlawn and 37th North, police records show. That includes multiple cases on Rushwood and on East 34th Street North.

No suspects have been identified, Lt. Joe Schroeder said.

He said there appears to be no connection to the woman who pleaded guilty late last year to numerous tire slashings in another part of the city and was sentenced to probation a few months ago.
