Wesley Medical Center announced Monday it has appointed Bill Voloch as its new chief operating officer

Voloch, who started May 1, had been chief financial officer for the Medical Center of Aurora in Aurora, Colo., since 2004, according to a news release from Wesley Medical Center.

That hospital and Wesley Medical Center are both owned by Hospital Corporation of America.

Before working for HCA, Voloch was employed by Michael Reese Medical Center in Chicago.

Voloch has a degree from Indiana University and a master’s in business administration from Regis University in Denver.

Voloch is filling the position that was held by Steve Edgar, who was appointed the new CEO of Galichia Heart Hospital in December. Galichia is owned by Wesley Medical Center.
