Wichita police are investigating a case of road rage that happened shortly after midnight Saturday near 25th North and Amidon.

A family – all male, ages 40, 15 and 15 – noticed another vehicle harassing them, according to Sgt. Scott Brunow, spokesman for the Wichita Police Department.

When the family stopped at the stoplight at 25th and Amidon, “the driver, the 40-year-old male, rolled his window down and asked if there was a problem,” Brunow said. “The suspect pulled a black pistol and pointed it at all three victims and said, ‘Here’s your problem’.”

The man with the gun then turned and headed south on Amidon.

No shots were fired. No one was injured, Brunow said.

Police are searching for a gray Jeep Cherokee with a partial tag of F-U-P.
