— Authorities are trying to find a motorcyclist accused of slashing the throat of a motorist in an apparent road rage incident in the Oklahoma City area.

The victim, Zack Pierson of Oklahoma City, told The Oklahoman (http://is.gd/kISfaX ) on Saturday that he was cut with a blade that sliced an artery and part of a neck tendon.

Pierson says he was attacked Friday when he pulled into a store parking lot at Warr Acres. He dropped off his wife and went to park when the motorcyclist screamed obscenities at him and said Pierson had cut him off.

The man slashed Pierson’s neck. Pierson was treated at a hospital, where he got 20 stitches.

Police are still looking for the motorcyclist.

Pierson says he feels lucky to be alive.
