Police are looking for a white or cream-colored car that witnesses say was used in a drive-by shooting in the Planeview neighborhood of southeast Wichita early Thursday morning.

The incident occurred at about 2 a.m. Thursday in the 3900 block of East Roseberry, near Pawnee and Hillside, Lt. Joe Schroeder said. A 21-year-old man and a 19-year-old woman were sitting in a car next to the curb when the white or cream-colored four-door car drove past.

Someone fired seven shots from a 9mm gun, striking both the parked car and the house it was next to, Schroeder said. Neither the people in the car nor a 24-year-old woman who lives in the house were injured in the shooting.
