The Wichita Beep Baseball Association is hosting its fifth annual garage sale fundraiser to benefit blind athletes in Kansas.

The sale will be 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Saturday at Envision, 2301 S. Water.

Proceeds from the garage sale will go toward paying travel and lodging costs for out-of-town games and tournaments. The National Beep Baseball Association World Series is July 28-Aug. 4 in Columbus, Ga.

The Wichita association is asking for donations of gently used items that can be used in the sale.

People can drop off donated items at the Seneca Street Bar and Grill, 3837 S. Seneca, or call Leandra Baker at 316-262-5358 to arrange for a drop-off in the midtown area. For larger items, call Kevin Burton at 316-267-2324.
