If North Korea messed with Russia the way it does the United States, Russia would level that country. This country should not have stopped Gen. Douglas MacArthur from doing his job. Now let’s go finish the job.

As far back as Marx and Engels, the communists argued for the dissolution of the family and the introduction of communal child rearing, and the current U.S. administration is doing the same.

Our health czar, Kathleen Sebelius, says it is OK to sell 15-year-olds the “morning-after” pill? I am sure the statutory rapists are applauding this decision.

I have been on Medicare for the past five years. With my Medicare Advantage program, my health care is as good as or better than I had with employer-funded private insurance, at less cost to me. I have the same doctor and my co-pay and prescription costs are less.

Why is it that the law will punish a parent for not strapping a 5-year-old child in a booster seat while in a car, but not punish a parent who leaves a loaded rifle lying around that gets picked up by a 5-year-old who then shoots and kills his 2-year-old sister?

I wonder if the idiot U.S. attorney general, Eric Holder, has ever heard of states’ rights.

Somebody asked: “Isn’t it ironic that our president took time to call the basketball player who announced his gay notions, but doesn’t admit his government is trying to bully Benghazi witnesses to keep them quiet?” No, it isn’t. Dig your dictionary out from under your Hannity memorabilia and look up “irony.”

They talk about water supply issues, yet the city continues to run sprinklers the morning after a 1-inch rain. There was water running down Rock Road on Friday morning in Derby. No wonder our taxes are so high and Cheney Reservoir is getting lower.

In a defensive-driving course you learn that you should stop 10 feet behind the car in front of you. If the car in front of you becomes stalled, you have room to pull out and if there is a rear-end collision behind you, there is less possibility of a multicar pileup. Don’t tailgate.

The Harlem Shake is not even close to the Harlem Shuffle.

I sure hope this global warming ends before I freeze to death.
