Pedestrian, 23, in critical condition after being hit by vehicle in south Wichita

A pedestrian was taken to the hospital in critical condition after he was hit by a vehicle in south Wichita, a Sedgwick County dispatch supervisor said.

The collision was reported at 8:43 p.m. Saturday in the 2200 block of South Broadway, near Kinkaid, he said. That’s between Mt. Vernon and Pawnee.

The victim, a 23-year-old man, is recovering at Via Christi Hospital on St. Francis, the dispatch supervisor said.
