Motorists are being urged to avoid the area of Kellogg and I-235 in west Wichita after a multi-car collision during the morning commute Wednesday, authorities said.

Seven vehicles are reportedly involved in the pile-up, which occurred at 6:49 a.m., a Sedgwick County dispatch supervisor said. No injuries were reported in the incident.

At least six police officers are on the scene assisting motorists and addressing traffic congestion, the supervisor said.
