Fund set up to accept donations for Garden Plain man’s double lung and liver transplant

A fund has been set up to accept donations for people wanting to help defray expenses linked to Chris Simon’s double lung and liver transplant.

Simon, 25, has cystic fibrosis and is in St. Louis awaiting a phone call from doctors saying a donor has become available. His sister, Emily, died of CF in 2009.

Donations can be sent to: Christopher Simon Transplant Fund, c/o Garden Plain State Bank; 525 N. Main; Garden Plain, KS 67050.
