Men robbed at knifepoint in west Wichita

Two men were robbed as they were walking in west Wichita early Sunday morning, police said.

The two 19-year-old men were near Kellogg and Edwards at about 4:40 a.m. when two men in a car pulled up and got out, Lt. Joe Schroeder said. They pulled knives on the victims and demanded their personal property.

The victims surrendered their cellphones, and the robbers left. Police have been pinging the phones but have not yet found the suspects, Schroeder said.
