People who were affected by the tornado that struck the Oaklawn area in south Wichita on April 14 last year are invited for a day of fun Saturday in Idlewild Park at the Oaklawn Community Center, 2937 E. Oaklawn Drive.

The event, sponsored by Communities in Schools of Wichita/Sedgwick County, will take place from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. It will feature food, drawings for prizes, live music and activities for kids.

The focus will be on those who suffered losses in the storm. Information about assistance for people who continue to need help will be available during the event.
