Kansas basketball coach Bill Self and freshman guard Ben McLemore will hold a news conference at 2:30 p.m. Tuesday at Allen Fieldhouse. McLemore is likely to announce whether he will declare for the NBA Draft

McLemore, 20, is projected as a top-five pick by many draft prognosticators and Self has said he would advise McLemore to explore his professional options.

"He needs to explore," Self said following KU’s loss to Michigan in the Sweet 16 of the NCAA Tournament last month. "He needs to look into doing what would be potentially great for his family, and if it’s the right time, he needs to go.

"But if it’s not, he should stay. But we’ll discuss it."
