A 5-year-old girl abducted from her father’s Gladstone home late Sunday has been located, police confirmed this afternoon.

Police said they located the girl with a female relative in Liberty between 1:30 and 2 p.m. Details on how she was found were not available.

Earlier today, police picked up a 38-year-old woman who is suspected of kidnapping Lili Justine High. She had called police and told them where she was.

Authorities issued an Amber Alert after Lili was abducted from her house by a friend of her parents.

Police said the kidnaper showed up at the father’s house about 9:25 p.m. after he hadn’t seen her for about three months. The father left the room but went back when he heard a commotion. The woman had left with Lili.

The suspect is homeless, as is Lili’s mother, police said.
