Authorities say an icy Harper County road caused a Wichita woman to lose control of a minivan and overturn in a ditch.

The 2003 Chevrolet Venture veered off of K-20, less than a half-mile east of the K-2 junction with Southwest 130th Avenue, injuring its 53-year-old driver and her five passengers, whose ages range from 28 to 55, the Kansas Highway Patrol said in a crash report.

They were taken to nearby hospitals for treatment, the highway patrol said; all are from Wichita.

The woman was headed west on the highway when the crash occurred around 8:15 a.m., according to the crash report.
