Wichita State’s men’s basketball players are cover boys in this week’s edition of Sports Illustrated.

“Shock the World” is the headline and WSU’s Cleanthony Early, Demetric Williams, Chadrack Lufile and Carl Hall are pictured in celebration. The ninth-seeded Shockers advanced to the Final Four with four wins, one over top-seeded Gonzaga and one over second-seeded Ohio State.

The cover is one of three regional covers for the magazine this week. Injured Louisville player Kevin Ware is featured on the other NCAA-related cover. Golfer Tiger Woods is the third cover subject.

Wichita State also made a regional SI cover in 2006 when it advanced to the NCAA Tournament’s Sweet 16. That photo featured former Shocker Sean Ogirri after the second-round win over Tennessee.
