Citizens Bank names new chairman

Citizens Bank of Kansas said Monday that its board of directors has elected Jane Deterding, executive vice president and general counsel, as the next chairman.

Deterding, who is based in the Kingman-based bank’s west Wichita office, replaces her mother, Shirley Deterding, who becomes chairman emeritus.

Mark Keeny remains president and CEO of the $226 million-asset bank.
