A hearing on protection from stalking sought by Wichita City Council candidate Joshua Blick was continued Thursday until April 11, according to Sedgwick County court records.

Blick was seeking the protection order against former candidate Craig Gabel. A temporary protection stalking order was entered March 18 against Gabel.

Blick and Gabel were opponents in the Feb 26 primary election for the council’s District 4 seat. Blick finished first and Jeff Blubaugh second and face each other in Tuesday’s general election.

Gabel finished third in the four-person primary race.
