Blues, soul and rock come together in Texas musician Hamilton Loomis, who will perform Thursday at The Orpheum, 200 N. Broadway, as a benefit for Becky Green, a candidate for Leukemia & Lymphoma Society Woman of the Year. Loomis’ website says that his “listeners will enjoy funky rhythms, booming horns, powerful yet refined harmonica and Loomis’ soulful vocals coupled with his stellar guitar work.” The Get Your Blues on for the Cure concert is at 8 p.m., and tickets are $30. Tickets are available through Select-A-Seat outlets, online at www.selectaseat.com or by calling 316-755-SEAT. For information, go to www.wichitaorpheum.com.
