Sheriff’s office issues 44 tickets for seat belt violations

Forty-four adults were cited for seat belt violations Tuesday during a four-hour saturation patrol by the Sedgwick County Sheriff’s deputies.

The patrol was conducted from 6 to 10 p.m., the sheriff’s office said Wednesday. One ticket was issued for improper child restraint and 12 citations were written for other traffic violations, the office said.
