Wichita can expect plenty of sunshine and temperatures in the low 50s today, forecasters say.
Winds will start out coming from the north, then become light and variable. Chances for rain arrive after midnight, forecasters say, and will linger through the weekend. Lows are anticipated to drop to the mid-30s, and temperatures will only recover a few degrees on Thursday.
Highs Friday will again be in the 40s as slight chances for rain persist.
