A weekend house fire has been ruled an arson, officials said.
The blaze was reported shortly after 5 a.m. Sunday at 12810 E. Bellechase, authorities said. That’s north of Pawnee and just east of 127th Street East.
The fire caused an estimated $100,000 in damage to the structure and contents, Capt. Stuart Bevis said. An investigation determined the fire was intentionally set, Lt. Joe Evans said.
Realty websites place the value of the house at that address at nearly $250,000.
