Man attacked near Old Town garage

Wichita police are investigating an attack that happened Sunday morning near an Old Town parking garage.

Shortly after 2 a.m. on Sunday, a 27-year-old man walked into Wesley Medical Center with head injuries, according to Sgt. Scott Brunow, spokesman for the Wichita Police Department.

The man told police he had been at a club in Old Town and was walking by a parking garage in the 200 block of North Rock Island when he was struck in the head by an unknown object. He had several lacerations to his head and a concussion.
