A man walked into the Wesley West emergency room Thursday night saying someone hit him on the head with something sometime somewhere.
An examination proved he wasn’t kidding — he had a fractured skull and is now in critical condition in intensive care at Wesley Medical Center, Lt. Joe Schroeder said.
The 41-year-old man walked into the hospital in the 8700 block of West 13th at about 10 p.m. to ask for help. He could not remember when or where the attack occurred or who might have done it.
The investigation is continuing, Schroeder said.
