Road-Trip to the KSU season opener against Auburn Game in Alabama on Sept. 01, 2007!
We had quite an adventure trying to make it to the game that weekend. We planned to drive through the night and part of the day that saturday to make it to the game in time to tailgate for a few hours. This picture was taken during a pit stop in Memphis where our car ended up breaking down. We all managed to fit into the cab of a 2-person tow truck for the drive to a nearby repair shop in a not so desireable part of Memphis. The guys at the repair shop were great though! During the 3 hours it took to get the part and replace the radiator in the car, we tailgated outside of the shop and played washers. And once the car was fixed, we drove a little bit faster than recommended to still make it to the game to see our team play! And with a victory over Auburn, there were no regrets!!!!Want to add your photo to this gallery? Upload it or e-mail it to fans@wichitaeagle.com. This is from the OU KSU game, right as the game was ending and the final score was up. See all the grim OU faces, and the one KSU face standing up with a grin? Was an awesome game!!Want to add your photo to this gallery? Upload it or e-mail it to fans@wichitaeagle.com. Please make sure to include a name and some info about the photo in the e-mail.
