Wichita weather: Here come some 70s

If you haven’t been bitten by spring fever yet, the next few days may sway you.

Highs today are expected to reach the 70s under sunny skies, forecasters say. Winds will be light and variable.

Overnight lows will settle in the low to mid-40s under mostly clear skies, and highs could touch 80 on Friday. The temperatures will be boosted by robust west winds gusting to nearly 30 miles an hour by late in the afternoon.

The weekend will see temperatures dip to more seasonal highs in the mid-50s. There will also be slight chances for rain throughout the period, forecasters say.
