Crisis Center of Dodge City, a service provider for victims of domestic violence and sexual assault, has a new executive director.
Joanna Zimmerman comes to Dodge City from Ruidoso, N.M., where she was an attorney, a prepared statement from the agency said. She has prior experience working with domestic violence and sexual assault programs in New Mexico and Virginia.
The center provides free and confidential services to any individual who has experienced domestic, sexual, interpersonal or stalking violence in the Dodge City area. Services include a 24-hour crisis hotline, personal support, safe shelter, community referrals, individual counseling, community education, and services to child victims through the Meadowlark House.
